Book Reviews & Final Presentations

Please get your netbook when you arrive.

1.  Book Reviews are due tomorrow.  One will be on a book from the required reading list and the other will be your chosen book.  Be sure to follow the book review rubric.  Today you will have class time to work on these reviews.  Book reviews will not be accepted after tomorrow, so please use the time available to you to complete this required assignment.  

2.  FINAL PRESENTATIONS begin tomorrow.  You selected a number yesterday.  Numbers 1-10 will present tomorrow.  This is your final.  Part of this final will also be your evaluation of the presenter on a Google form to be submitted to me.  Of course, you may work on your presentation this period or your book reviews.

 

Textbook Return

Textbook Return today -- you were asked to bring your texts with you to class today -- all texts not needed for finals.  You are able to return texts until 2:30 today and tomorrow.  You will enter the library at the back doors.

When you return to class, please get your netbook and work on your Goodreads book reviews that are due THURSDAY.  

NOTE: We will begin Expert Project presentations on Thursday.  You will select a number today.

Feature Article

Please read quietly while your netbook powers up.

1.  NOTE:  Textbook return tomorrow.  Please bring with you to class all the textbooks that you will not need for finals.

2.  Feature Article Presentation (your final).  We will begin on Thursday.  Wednesday you will select your number.  

3.  BOOK REVIEWS are due Thursday.  I will give you time on Wednesday to post these reviews on Goodreads. 

4. TODAY --  Friday was the due date for the feature article.  Some of you have not quite completed the article.  The final deadline is midnight tonight.  Please use class time today to complete this final assignment.  Remember to include a separate WORKS CITED page.
