NOTE: One book review on a book from the recommended list is due by this Friday, June 13th -- the sooner, the better.

*TODAY -- today we begin presentations on the topic of your Feature Article.  Volunteers will receive extra credit.  If there are no volunteers, I will begin at the top of my roster. I will be looking for the following in your presentation:

     *Speaking knowledgeably about your topic without reading

       notes.

     *Enthusiasm for your topic

     *Visuals that appropriately accompany your talk

     *Attention to the audience -- at the end ask if there are any 
       questions.

AUDIENCE: give the speaker your undivided attention.  Ask

questions following the presentation.

*TODAY is textbook return day.  You should have all your books with you right now.  You should also have your ID (which you should have with you at all times).

 

*When we return to class it is your time to work on your presentation for next week.  We will start Monday.  If no volunteers come forward, I will start at the top of my roster. You might also work on your book review or reading or studying for other finals next week.
