*Yesterday we got a start on The Great Gatsby essay.  I asked you to continue working on it for homework whether or not you have access to Google Docs at home.  We will continue working on it in class Friday with an eye towards completing the essay.  Carefully compose your sentences and proofread your writing as you go along.

*Essay on The Great Gatsby  -- Today we are going to get a significant start on this essay.  The target due date is Friday.  You will have class time on Friday to complete the essay.  Please work on it at home whether or not you have access to Google Docs.  I have already given you the writing prompt.  The one I am passing out today, breaks the assignment down a little bit more. (HANDOUT)
