1.  NOTE:  Please have your Independent Reading  Book each day.  You have selected this book from the annotated list (link in blog post Sept 26).    Starting tomorrow I will be checking for this book.

1.  INDEPENDENT READING -- You have chosen a book from the ANNOTATED BOOKLIST (link found in Sept 26th blog post).  Please bring your reading to class each day.  You will be required to review two books for the second six weeks.

2.  Act One of The Crucible -- Complete handout for HOMEWORK to review the reading done in class.  The handout will be due upon completion of each act.  Complete the CHARACTER CHART handout as we go along with the reading in class.

3.  NOTE: Grading period ends this Friday.

Research Presentation

1.  NOTE:  First book review due Wed, Oct 3rd.  Please look at the annotated book list (post Sept 26) for your second book.  Because we are so close to the end of the grading period, this second book will satisfy the two book per grading period requirement for the second six weeks.  So . . .  it will be only one book you should have completed for the first six weeks.

2.  RESEARCH TOPIC PRESENTATION TODAY.  Please turn in to me five (5) multiple choice questions on your topic.
