1. Independent Reading -- Please begin at the bell with The Great Gatsby (review the reading or read ahead). NOTE: you should have selected your own book for this grading period and are reading on your own.
2. QUIZ -- you may use your completed questions for help on this quiz: Chapter One Quiz
After you have completed the quiz, go to your ENGLISH JOURNAL and write about one of the characters that we meet in Chapter One. What do we know about Nick? Describe his character. What feeling do you have about Daisy or Tom? Choose a character to write about.
3. EXPERT PROJECT -- With the remaining time today, please use to continue your research on your topic. Some of you have missed credit from last week when at least TWO blog posts should have been completed.
