Please read quietly until we are ready to begin. (We will not be using the netbooks today).
*NOTE: the end of the grading period is this Friday. You are to have posted on Goodreads two book reviews. The deadline is Friday at class time. I will see the URL of your Goodreads page at that time.
*Transformational Thinking Unit -- we are near the end of this study and will conclude it with an essay that I will introduce to you tomorrow. Right along I have been speaking of this essay assignment which will bring together the four thinkers that we have studied -- Emerson, Thoreau, Gandhi, and King.
*"Stride Towards Freedom" -- reading for supporting ideas. Read quietly and carefully. Complete the details on the lines provided and write a response at the end. Use every line. (HANDOUT)
HOMEWORK: Complete two book reviews on Goodreads and share the URL with me by filling out the form under "Important Links" on my blog. Be sure to follow the rubric and provide clear spacing between each paragraph.
